California Pizza Kitchen San Francisco California

Complaint: Having a 6 year old certainly limits the dining options that adults and small children can both enjoy. CPK certainly seemed to bridge the gap between young and old. Myself, my wife and our 6 year old typically dined there 2-3 times per month. Considering it was a chain, we were always pleased with the food, service and reasonable prices. My last two visits this month were abhorent. On the first visit of the month I ordered a Thai Crunch salad. The salad took about 35 minutes to arrive and was not the Thai Chrunch salad but the Chinese Chicken salad. I didn’t complain because it was the first time I had it and it was actually better than the Thai salad. A few minutes later, the waiter stopped by and informed me that he gave me the wrong salad and would I like another. I told him that the Chinese was pretty good so I’d stick with it. He told me he wouldn’t charge me for either. So that was June 07 visit number 1. I went back last week, and the experience was absolutely abysmal. First of all, all of the condiments that were typically put out on the tables were locked up in the waiters stations and only available upon request. The exception was the salt and pepper. The grated cheese, crushed red pepper and liquid pepper were locked up. It was absolutely humiliating to ask for grated cheese. In addition, my Sedona Tortilla soup was delivered cold, and my son’s pasta wasn’t even cooked. The waitress was about as sharp as a bowling ball. I can see one bad episode, but 2 in a row? I’m done with CPK, I’ll never go there again. Lee Ving San Francisco, CaliforniaU.S.A.
