After reading the FDA recall warning about Hydroxycut, I contacted the GNC store in Monrovia, CA to inquire about their refund policy. I explained to them that I did not have the receipt but that I could produce a bank statement to show the amount paid. I was told no receipt or statement would be necessary for the refund. nI paid $64.64 for the product but GNC only offered a $27.43 refund. nThe following statement is from the FDA recall statement: n”Consumers who have any of the products involved in the recall are advised to stop using them and to return them to the place of purchase””.n(http://www.fda.gov/bbs/topics EWS/2009 EW02006.html) n…and this is from the Hydroxycut FAQ website: nWhat if I want to return my Hydroxycut product. How do I do that? nFor product refunds
consumers are directed to return their product directly to the place of purchase.n(http://www.hydroxycutinformation.com/) nGNC is ignoring the recall notice and making their own rules! nHunnee BrownnDuarte
