The short of it is, Precision Pest Control decieves and tricks consumers into signing up for a year-long service with recurring fees after verbally promising that this is a one-time-fee service. The sales representative in question in our case verbally explained the service as being available for a one-time fee. The service representative then had us check a box on an iPad that we “understood” the terms before signing on the app. This iPad approach completely obscures the true agreement. The business sends an digitally generated service agreement that replicated our signature (not a real signature on the form). The owner of the business was entirely unwilling to cancel the agreement, and indeed said we simply misunderstood what his employee clearly explained. .
