I have had three Zagg screen shields crack in the past year, and according to Zagg’s replacement policy, I should only be charged for shipping. However, each time after I returned my damaged product to them, exactly as specified on their instructions, I receive an email a week or two later saying that they have not received my product and will be charging my credit card for the full amount of shipping, plus the cost of the screen shield. Each time, customer service has worked with me to retract these charges, but it’s quite the process. Most of all, it’s happened three times in a row now. I recommend taking pictures of your damaged item and of the envelope you mail back to them, or pay the extra $6.00 and send their damaged good back via certified mail. It’s nice when companies offer to replace their damaged products, but Zagg’s shady operations are downright shameful.
